Why the name Lapatutu?

The name 'Lapatutu' didn't come from a boardroom or a marketing agency; it came from the very heart of our inspiration. It was born from the observant eyes of a child watching the "work" happen.

To an adult, a laptop is a tool for emails and editing. But to a child, it is a "Lapatutu", a rhythmic, playful gateway to stories and imagination. When we heard that word, said by a child, it clicked. 

It captured the exact energy we wanted our brand to carry: 

• Playful yet Professional: It turns the "work" of writing into a joy.

• Universal: The rhythmic syllables remove linguistic barriers; it is easily spoken in every language.

• Original: It is a creation of its own.

Lapatutu Writing Creations now stands as our official corporate entity, overseeing the production, publishing, and professional growth of our writing services.

Under this new banner, we have expanded our focus beyond traditional storytelling. We now specialize in Writing Brand Stories for Legacy. We believe that every individual and organization has a unique narrative that deserves to be preserved with excellence. 

By crafting these legacy stories, we ensure that the values, impact, and history of our clients are documented as "Creations" that will inspire generations to come.

However, we have not left our roots behind. Ekigambo Blog continues to live on as the heartbeat of our mission, serving as the dedicated CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) arm of the company. It remains the vehicle through which we:

• Maintain our digital library of 100+ free Children Stories.

• Execute the "Learning with Stories" School Outreach Program.

The foundation has not changed. We are still the same team that hand-assembled books in a home office and shared stories with students. We are simply moving forward with a structure that allows us to scale and a name that smiles back at us.
