Lapatutu Writing Creations was founded on a simple, noble mission: to help young learners in Uganda enjoy learning through the power of stories.
We believed then, as we do now, that storytelling is the most effective way to learn about complex subjects. By turning the difficult into the relatable, learning becomes enjoyable.
Today, that mission remains the heartbeat of our identity; through our CSR arm. We continue to donate original storybooks to young learners every term, free of charge.
Over time, we realized that brands, as well, truly connect to their audience when they translate their products and legacy into well-crafted stories.
While a great product creates a customer, a powerful story has the ability to transform that customer into a believer.
We noticed that many incredible Ugandan companies were doing high-quality, impactful work, yet their stories remained silent or scattered across the digital landscape without a coherent voice. By combining the heart of a storyteller with the mind of a strategist, we evolved into a Narrative Agency.
Today, we help brands translate their noble work into narratives that break down their purpose. We find the meaning behind the product and the 'Why' behind the brand, and we write it, clearly and continuously.
We believe people don't just buy what you make; they buy why you make it!
Whether you are a startup finding your voice or an established name reclaiming your narrative, we ensure your story is told with the depth it deserves and the clarity it requires. We write for more than just today.
We write for posterity.
The Art of Narrative
At Lapatutu Writing Creations, we believe you cannot lead a narrative agency without being a practitioner of the craft. Our founder, writing under the pen name Kay Liam, crafts stories inspired by everyday life.
